Due to internal promotion an exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit a Clinical Nurse Educator within the Division of Medicine at Whipps Cross Hospital. We are looking for an individual who can provide support and education to the Division with particular emphasis on leading and supporting respiratory Medicine. You will be an enthusiastic assertive and inspirational Nurse who has a passion for ensuring Nursing staff at all levels have the requisite skills for providing high quality, safe services, with excellent outcomes in a way that delivers efficiencies and meeting the expectations of patients and the public.

The Directorate consists of Gastroenterology, Respiratory, Endocrinology, Infection Control, Stroke Rehabilitation, Cardiology, Palliative Care, Elderly Care with specialist areas such as Frailty and Falls/Syncopy,
Being successful in this role means that you will help to ensure staff skills are effectively utilised, ensuring the delivery of high quality and safe care in an environment of ongoing learning and improvement. This role is an excellent opportunity to develop senior operational management experience across a wide portfolio in a high profile and rewarding role.
Main duties of the job
The post-holder will provide enthusiastic, passionate and innovative Nursing teamleadership, demonstrating outstanding evidence based clinical practice and leadership withinthe multi-professional team, combined with clear and effective operational/resourcemanagement.
To lead on the development of nursing practice and standards of care.To deputise for the Matron when necessary.
