Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated and ambitious Pharmacy Assistant to join our busy chemotherapy manufacturing team at Barts Health NHS Trust. The post holder must be keen to learn and develop with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and will undertake a wide variety of roles within the unit including, but not limited to aseptic preparation, stock management, training and in-process checking. The post holder will be based at St Bartholomew's Hospital supporting our well established, dedicated chemotherapy manufacturing unit.

Applicants should hold an NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services (or equivalent). Previous experience of working in aseptic production is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided. Accuracy and efficiency are essential. Attention to detail, adaptability and being a team player are a must.
