Applications are invited for appointment to the role of Clinical Governance Manager for the Adult Critical Care Emergency Service (ACCESS), London's commissioned ACCU Transfer and Retrieval Service.We are currently seeking a highly skilled & self-motivated individual to join our dynamic team at ACCESS. The ACCESS Clinical Governance Manager will collaborate with the Clinical Governance & Clinical Risk Leads to ensure oversight of the ACCESS's governance & Risk profile. This position requires in-depth knowledge of governance and the ability to provide hands-on support in the development of governance reports, frameworks, policies, & SOPs. Within your designated portfolio, you will champion the adoption of exemplary clinical governance procedures.ACCESS is committed to ensuring the secure, reliable, compassionate, & proficient transfer of critically ill patients throughout the capital. Our operations are carried out in collaboration with the London Ambulance Service NHS Trust (LAS), the London integrated commissioning boards & associated critical care networks to provide a transfer service forcritically ill patients throughout London between 0800-2200, 365 days a year, with the aim of transitioning to a 24-hour service in the upcoming quarter
Main duties of the job
The ACCESS Clinical Governance Manager will collaborate with the Clinical Governance and Clinical Risk Leads in maintaining oversight of ACCESS's Governance and Risk profile.This position necessitates a depth of knowledge in governance and the capability to offer practical support in crafting governance reports, f responsible for advocating for excellence and steadfast clinical governance procedures within your specified portfolio.

Assist in organising the monthly Clinical Development days,
Guide multidisciplinary members of the Risk Group on aspects of service risk and governance and support them in presenting related work both within ACCESS and externally,Assist in maintaining an up-to-date Risk register to manage risks within ACCESS.

- Demonstrable understanding of the Serious Incident (SI) framework

- Experience of managing change within a complex care setting
- Excellent understanding of Microsoft Office with comprehensive word-process skills
