Job summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Midwife to join our busy Maternity Unit. The role includes providing specialised, comprehensive midwifery care and support to all women within the Fetal Medicine Unit (FMU).

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be rostered to work within the Fetal Medicine department at Newham University Hospital. The role includes providing specialised care and support to all womenwithin the Fetal Medicine unit. Providing comprehensive midwifery care in the maternity unit and primary health care setting within the model of care practised in the maternity services. To provide the highest standard of individualised and holistic patient care, in conjunction with the multidisciplinary team

Essential

  • Registered Midwife on NMC register at Band 6 or above,
  • qualified to degree level Mentorship course or equivalent

Experience

  • Band 6 midwife with 1 year experience or more
