An exciting opportunity has opened for a part-time DEXA scan radiographer to join the Rheumatology Service team based at Whipps Cross Hospital, Bart's Health NHS Trust. The DEXA scanning service is located at a local community site (Silverthorne Health Centre) and provides diagnostic scanning for patients referred via Whipps Cross Hospital or externally (GP referrals). The successful applicant will be responsible for providing DEXA scanning to patients as appropriate, working alongside the Lead DEXA radiographer, clinical consultants, nursing, and administrative teams within the Rheumatology and Imaging Services.

Interested candidates will require DCR or BSc Hons qualifications and diagnostic imaging state registration.

Main duties of the job

Bart's Health NHS Trust are looking to recruit a part-time DEXA Scan Radiographer. This is an exciting opportunity for a DEXA scan radiographer to join the Rheumatology Service team based at Whipps Cross Hospital, Bart's Health NHS Trust. The DEXA scanning service is located at a local community site (Silverthorne Health Centre) and provides diagnosticscanning for patients referred via Whipps Cross Hospital or externally (GP referrals and North Middlesex University Hospital). The successful applicant will be working within a small team with the Lead Radiographer, and 2 administrative staff, and will be responsible for providingDEXA scanning to patients as appropriate.
