An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Co-ordinator to join the Doctors in Training Team (Medical Recruitment, HEE junior doctors) at Barts Health NHS Trust. We are expanding the current team, and this is a new permeant post. We are looking for a well-organised, proactive team player with excellent customer service and communication skills, who can work well under pressure whilst adhering to procedures and deadlines and who thrives in a fast paced and constantly changing environment.
The successful candidate will ideally have a background in either Recruitment or Human Resources, will help provide a comprehensive service, covering the full range of matters, both internal and external to meet the service needs in an effective and professional manner as well as assisting in other operational HR requirements.
Main duties of the job
The role will include supporting managers and prospective employees in all aspects of the recruitment process. The applicant will have good customer service skills specifically related to Doctors in Training. Tasks including issuing offer letters, work schedules, contracts of employment, completing ID checks, pay queries, parental leave applications and queries, visas queries, interpretation of policies and procedures. The candidate will need to have a high level of interpersonal skills and the confidence to communicate with staff at all levels within the organisation.

Administer the full recruitment process of Doctors in Training for the Trust
Delivery of a customer focused, high quality, professional service, in line with Trust policy, legal requirements and to agreed key performance indicators
Undertake recruitment activity in accordance with relevant operational processes and procedures
Undertake pre-employment meetings with candidates, supporting them with the completion of their new starter paperwork and completing appropriate checks and verification of identification and right to work documents in line with Trust policy and legal requirements
Advising recruiting managers of any considerations they may need to make for new recruits in response to information disclosed throughout the recruitment process including reasonable adjustments, criminal disclosures, professional registrations, work permits
Provide guidance and support to candidates and Manager throughout the recruitment process
Provide guidance and support to all the Doctors in Training employed by the Trust, promptly addressing any work-related query they might have
Administration of recruitment for Doctors In Training as directed by the Senior Recruitment Advisors and Recruitment Team Leaders
Maintain the accuracy and integrity of data on Trust Recruitment and Workforce Systems for own workloads
Support Recruitment Advisors at on-site Recruitment Clinics/Induction
Act as a fully engaged member of the Recruitment Services team, supporting colleagues as necessary
Participate in the planning and delivery of recruitment events including Trust based open days and national recruitment fairs
Deputise for Recruitment Advisors as required
