ESR Assistant

Band 4, Part-Time, 30 Hours per week

An permanent opportunity has become available for a Band 4 ESR Assistant in the People Systems Team .

The role is to support the provision of a central service for the Trust in relation to the Employee Staff record (ESR) system, ensuring that data is validated, accurate and input into ESR in a timely manner. The post holder will be responsible for supporting the ESR Lead and ESR Officers to maintain workstructures, hierarchy and systems access administration. They will promote the ESR system and act as champion for the system to encourage acceptance by users.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will help to maintain and support the internal e forms database on SharePoint, providing advice to Trust Managers and reports to key stakeholders.

Applicants must have previous experience of using ESR and extensive knowledge of Agenda for Change terms & conditions. Please refer to the person specification attached for an extensive list of skills and personal qualities required for the post.

To succeed in this role you will demonstrate:

  • Recent working knowledge and expertise of ESR (Electronic Service Record) - Please note not EPR
  • Experience of investigating and resolving queries through the application of relevant work procedures
  • Recent experience of work involving regular and accurate data validation to strict deadlines.
  • You will have excellent customer service and organisational skills with the ability to liaise effectively with colleagues
  • Previous administration experience
  • Knowledge of Agenda for Change and Medical Terms and Conditions
