To Operate the Hospital Main Switchboard on System for Dedicated Day & Night Staff 24/7.
Dealing with Internal External Calls. And all Emergency Calls Alarms and Operating Internal Bleep Paging System.
To Provide a Telecoms Service for Enquires at all Times Out of Hrs.
The Switchboard takes approx. 3000 Calls a day.
This is a Rotating Shifts Position working Weekends/B/Hol.

We are looking for someone with a Customer Service Skills organisational skills, with initiative who is an effective team player able to prioritise and work well under pressure,

Job responsibilities
To Contribute to the effective operation of the Trust business by providing a high quality 24 Hr a day all year-round Telecommunication.
Taking Internal/External Calls from other Hospitals/GP connecting to relevant Teams.
To Operate Hospital emergency system in accordance with set procedures including Cardiac Arrest/Fire/Security/Major Incidents etc.
To Test all Bleeps Daily and documented
To follow all Departmental SOP
To Ensure that callers complaints are attended in Line with Trust Procedures.Maintain a daily log of all Emergency Calls
Deal with Failures i.e. Bleep/Telephony Failures.
To comply with All Trust Procedures.
Use own Initiative if out of Hrs.
