Clinical Operations Lead
2PAs postApplications are invited for appointment to the role of Clinical Operations Lead for the Adult Critical Care Emergency Service (ACCESS), London's commissioned Adult Critical Care Transfer and Retrieval Service. We are actively searching for a highly skilled and motivated individual to assume the important role of overseeing the operational delivery of ACCESS.
In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of all business-critical workflows on a day-to-day basis. Your expertise and dedication will play a pivotal role in upholding the exceptional standards of service ACCESS is committed to providing; ultimately contribute using the service's continued success and impact within the critical care domain.
Main duties of the job
Ensure operational delivery and downstream operational development is alignedto service vision and strategy,
Act as the named lead for designated referring centres, supporting and maintaining positive relationships between the service and regional stakeholders
Assume responsibility for the line management of critical care team leaders, including tasks such as performance reviews, appraisals, and audits
Lead projects related to critical care practice, and provide specialist input to wider trust and regional projects
Monitor and implement continuous process improvement initiatives in collaboration with the Education Lead, Clinical informatics and Performance lead, and operational teams to enhance performance and drive standardisation
Monitor the services budget in alignment with the strategic aims and ensure appropriate financial management
Continually evaluate operations and financial performance to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies for enhancement
Serve as the primary communication liaison between ACCESS and regional government bodies
