Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, enthusiastic and capable Assistant Project Manager with a commitment to and passion for improving services and outcomes for patients and their families.

This post holder will focus specifically on continuing the Care Coordination Solution (CCS) Programme and will support the CCS Senior Project Manager on the delivery of CCS and its multifactorial programmes of work, in a dynamic and complex environment.

The postholder should have experience of working in a project management environment with an ability to take ownership of areas of work and manage all aspects of agreed projects, including theirplanning, design, execution, evaluation, documentation, and completion. Evidence of effective delivery is a pre-requisite for applicants.

Individuals must be able to build positive working relationships with staff at all levels and across all Group Hospital sites with operational and clinical teams, and teams within ICT, Business Intelligence, Clinical Systems and Workforce Directorate.

The role will require working flexibly to tight timescales across multiple teams and workstreams. A commitment to co-production and working to improve equity of care for a diverse population is essential. Individuals will need to be able to work with minimal supervision.

The role is a fixed term contract ending on 31st October 2024.

Main duties of the job

The CCS Assistant Project Manager will be a key member of the CCS Programme Delivery team, leading core project management functions (reporting, action tracking, forward planners, risk and issue logs etc.) and ensuring that all project documentation is complete, regularly reviewed and kept up to date.

The CCS Assistant Project Manager will support the Senior Project Manager on the development of evaluation and monitoring processes to measure project benefits, and will work to resolve any potential conflicts between the project objectives and stakeholder needs.
