Job summary

The Specialist Dietitianis responsible forthe provision of a specialist dietetic assessment,advice and counselling service to a caseload of patients who have been treated on our wards (at Russells Hall or Ridge Hill) .They willbe requiredtoparticipate in regular MDT meetings,

Main duties of the job

• Toprovidespecialist dietetic assessment support and expert dietary advice based on clinical evidence to complex patients.

• To manageyour owncaseload as an autonomous practitioner.

• To arrange continuing care as necessary inan appropriate settingor by telephone,tofacilitateunderstanding and dietary compliance.

• To provide cover to the general & acute wards duringstaffshortage.
