Job summary

Tobe responsible forthe clinical professional leadership and management oftherapists,therapyassistants, nurseswithinDudley Rehabilitation Service(DRS). Responsible fortheday to daymanagement of the teams that make up DRS.

  • To lead the multi-disciplinary teams to ensure effective and efficient rehabilitation services are provided.

  • Toidentifyclinical priorities at operational level for the teams ensuring the highest standards of clinical and professional practice through professional leadership, supervision,mentorshipand practice development.

  • To lead the development ofthe pathways inDudley Rehabilitation Serviceto enable continuous quality improvement in the service provision and clinical practice.

  • Toestablishand maintain a clear structure for clinical and professional advice and support for all members of both teams.

  • To monitorthe services provided against the service level agreementsand DGFTobjectives.

Main duties of the job

Tobe responsible forthe provision of rehabilitation &management ofpatients with a variety of conditions, seen byDudley Rehabilitation Service, to increase ormaintaintheir independence as much as possible and for as long as possible.
