Health Co-Ordinator for Families First for Children Programme (FFP)

Job summary

The Families First for Children Pathfinder (FFCP)was announced in February 2023 as part of the government's children's social care implementation strategy, Stable homes, built on love.

The role is pivotal to improved partnership working, strategic planning, quality assurance and performance monitoring. The Health Co-ordinator will hold a strategic position across the local health economy and to engage in its inter agency business via the FFCP Programme and Steering Group Boards. Contribute to the evaluation of the FFCP project and report on the effectiveness of the reforms within health.

Please note, this role is a secondment for 2 years. We must have agreement from your employer that they can release you for 2 years fixed term.

Main duties of the job

There is a requirement for a Health Co-Ordinator to:

  • Support and lead the delivery and roll out of the FFCP reforms across the health economy, including health partners within RWT/BCHFT/ICB/Primary care.
  • Ensure effective communication between all partners both at operational and strategic level. Streamlining, mobilising and enabling all the health practitioners to ensure effective delivery of FFCP.
  • Be professionally accountable and maintain the standards of professional practice as set by the appropriate regulatory body applicable to your profession or role.
  • Accountable for identifying and ensuring improvements in patient safety, patient experience and effectiveness of service occur.
  • Provide expert advice to all health partners on matters and risks that arise throughout the project. Supporting work around data sharing and evaluation of impact.
  • Ensuring effective contribution to the delivery of all health organisation's objectives (RWT/BCHFT/ICB).
