Job summary
We are looking for an efficient, experienced and well organised person to join the C4 Day Case team as an Outpatient Clinic Co-ordinator (Booking Clerk). Applicants should have previous receptionist and administrative experience, be structured and have the ability to prioritise workload. The successful candidate will be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
A keen customer service focus is essential along with excellent written and verbal communication skills in order to book chemotherapy treatments for patients. Current experience of Trust computer and medical records systems is preferred but not essential as training, will be provided on appointment.
Working hours 8am - 4pm Monday to Friday.t
Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide an efficient clerical service by inputting of information into the computer systems, booking Chemotherapy day-case treatments and ensuring prescription charts are sent to pharmacy by completing electronic tracking system.
The role will require use of hospital IT systems and making sure medical records are available and in good order.
