Band 6 Shift Lead- Evening Service 17:30-23:00
We are looking to appoint a Band 6 District Nurse into our friendly and supportive team. You must have effective communication and negotiation skills. As an advocate for our patients, you need to have the ability to inspire people at all levels. This post would require that you had an understanding of the expanding role of community nursing and would have the commitment to take it forward. You will need a sound understanding of the current primary care agenda, with excellent communication skills and effective leadership and decision-making skills. You will need to be innovative and able to work autonomously whilst promoting a positive and supportive learning environment for team members and students. This would be an excellent opportunity to develop your leadership skills in supporting the team leader.
Main duties of the job
You will have excellent communication skills, time management skills with the ability to prioritise and problem solve.You will have the opportunity to develop leadership skills by having responsibility for the supervision of junior staff and students.
This is a 7-day service including bank holidays and weekends.
