Job summary

We are looking for a true team player to join our Administration team in the Audiology Department situated in Brierley Hill Health & Social Care Centre. The successful applicant will have a flexible approach and a professional attitude with the ability to work well under pressure and cope with conflicting demands.

Applicants should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and previous experience within a busy clinical environment.

An ability to communicate clearly with the general public is essential, as well as being able to work on your own initiative and as part of the team.

Main duties of the job

The Audiology service is provided from within the Specialist Surgery Division of the Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust and is delivered from the Audiology Department based in the Brierley Hill Health and Social Care Centre, Brierley Hill.

The role is to help the Administration team provide an efficient high-quality reception and administration service to all patients and visitors to the Audiology Service, including general clerical duties as requested.

  • Computer Literacy and/ or equivalent qualification

  • NVQ Level 2/3 in Customer Service or Business Administration or equivalent.

  • Able to competently use Microsoft packages: Word/Excel.
  • Able to competently use Oasis, Sunrise and Envoy

  • Experience with Audit Base, a national Audiology system.
