Job summary
To provide a professional, and appropriate reception service to the public and all users of High Oak Surgery, maintaining confidentiality at all times. To book appointments with the most relevant clinician and complete daily administration tasks using the surgery's computer systems.
Main duties of the job
To deal politely and efficiently with all patient queries via the telephone and face-to-face
The booking patient appointments via the telephone, face-to-face and via the website with the most appropriate clinician, ensuring that Care Navigation is carried out
The booking home visit triage requests ensuring that all relevant information is gathered and forwarded to the GP
Completing daily tasks in a timely manner using the surgery's IT programmes including, EMIS, Docman, Footfall and email
Dealing with prescription requests ensuring they are forwarded to the relevant GP for action
