Job summary
We are thrilled to announce an opportunity for a Dietitian (Band 5) to join our Specialist Community Dietetic Service as a rotational role, covering the entire Dudley Borough. This role offers a fantastic chance to work within a supportive, close-knit team in a dynamic NHS community setting, making it ideal for newly qualified dietitians or those passionate about community-based care.
Our team provides dietetic services to a diverse patient population, including those requiring nutrition support, home enteral feeding, diabetes management, and complex weight management. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload, conducting regular clinics both in person and via telephone, and providing care to patients in their own homes and nursing homes.

Main duties of the job
You will have a wide-ranging introduction to dietetics within the community, with the opportunity to build a portfolio of experience in a range of clinical dietetic conditions. You will also offer virtual consultations (phone and video) where appropriate. You will have the opportunity to work closely with senior dietitian, supporting caseload management and gaining invaluable insight into their area of clinical speciality
You will be joining an experienced and supportive team of dietitians and will participate in regular peer support meetings and 1:1 supervision to facilitate clinical excellence and personal development. We actively participate in clinical audit, student training and clinical service developments.
