Job summary
The Dispensary Pharmacy Technician at DCSL Corbett Pharmacy will work collaboratively with the Superintendent at DCSL Corbett Pharmacy and the Principal Pharmacy Technician for Operations and Training DGOH. They will assist to deliver a high-quality patient focused dispensing service for DCSL and support the day to day running of the dispensary. The post holder will train to a standard to enable them to work in all dispensaries at DGOH. The expectation is that the post holder will be based 80% at Corbett Pharmacy and 20% at Russell's Hall Hospital Pharmacy.
Main duties of the job

Dispense and counsel outpatient's patients regarding their medication regimens to ensure patients understand their medication and possible side effects. These may be patients with certain barriers e.g. hearing problems, language issues. This will also include counselling specialist medication (e.g. dermatology medicines, TB medicines on out-patients)
