Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for dedicated care support works to join the team on AMU Assessment. Our assessment unit is a fast paced unit taking admissions directly from the emergency department whilst awaiting medical decisions.

If you are caring, compassionate, hardworking and thrive of a faced paced acute environment then this is the role for you.

Staff will be supported by an experienced team and also encouraged to develop in their role.

Please note you must already have csw experience within the hospital as this is not a trainee role.

Main duties of the job

The Clinical Support Worker will work together with members of the Nursing team and contribute to the implementation of a high standard and individualised patient care under the direction of a registered nurse.

The post holder will be required to communicate effectively with other members of the health care team, patients and relatives and must be able to recognise and report to the appropriate person any changes in the patient's condition which may require the intervention of others.
