An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Project Manager to join our Black Country Provider Collaborative Transformation and Delivery Office.
This role would be an excellent development opportunity for a current Band 6 Project Manager or anyone seeking to gain experience and enhance their skills working at a system-wide level.
The Project Manager will oversee three key transformation projects within the Breast Specialty Network:
- Development of a breast reconstruction service providing free-flap surgery.
- Establishment of a breast radiology alliance.
- Review of the four Black Country breast units.
The ideal candidate will have experience in NHS clinical service transformation and project management, including planning, stakeholder engagement, and the development of outline business cases.

- Lead the project management and delivery of three transformation projects within the Breast Network
- Provide high-quality project management, including planning, administration, risk management, and reporting.
- Develop and implement detailed project plans with defined deliverables and milestonesConduct comprehensive options appraisals and develop outline business cases for each project.
- Foster excellent collaborative relationships with stakeholders and ensure alignment with the Provider Collaborative's strategic objectives.
Qualifications and Experience
- Educated to degree level or equivalent career path experience.
- Significant experience in project management, particularly within an NHS healthcare environment.
- In-depth working knowledge of the UK healthcare sector and its regulation.
- Experience of developing and leading stakeholder engagement workshops.
- Experience of managing and reporting project progress, risks and issues through appropriate logs and highlight / exception report's
- Experience of developing PIDs, EQIAs, and outline business cases.
- Proficient in preparing and producing concise communications for a diverse range of stakeholders.
