Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity to join the Clinical Site Team at Russell's Hall Hospital as a lead nurse in capacity.

The Clinical Site Team are responsible for the management of Site Operations across the Trust, managing capacity and flow and providing senior clinical leadership out of hours.

The lead nurse role is integral to the team managing day-to-day flow and capacity and effectively co-ordinating resources out of hours.

Main duties of the job

The Lead Nurse for Site Operations will work as an integral member of the multi-professional workforce and alongside the wider Site Operations Team.

The post holder will support with operational management of all site issues as well as facilitating patient flow throughout the clinical areas. This is with the objective of ensuring that the patient is admitted in a timely fashion, receives the right treatment in the right place and is signposted to alternative service providers in accordance with agreed pathways and protocols of care.

The post holder will act as a support for both the Hospital at Night team and ward staff out of hours, to ensure the safe and effective use of resources to provide quality patient care.

The post holder will be working autonomously, with support and liaison with the Clinical Site Manager and Hospital at Night Team. The post holder will be responsible for allocating all clinical tasks to the hospital nerve centre out of hours
