Job summary

We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and experienced Nuclear Medicine radiographer or technologist to join our team.

There is a wide range of diagnostic procedures within our modern purpose built department, offering specialist imaging such as lymphatic SPECT/CT to the Melanoma service.

This exciting opportunity has become available just as the department enters a new phase of development. We have just installed two Siemens T16 SPECT/CT's and have ambitious plans to develop our service with new scanning techniques.

We support advanced practise of nuclear medicine staff in the department as opportunities become available such as advanced practitioner reporting and Radiographer / Technologist led cardiac stress testing. . You will be actively encouraged and supported to advance your skills.

Main duties of the job

To work in the Nuclear Medicine department performing high quality diagnostic examinations. To participate in any extended day, weekend, and Bank Holiday service provided by the departments,. To perform intravenous injections in Nuclear Medicine (following training if required). To undertake formal post graduate training in Nuclear Medicine if not already trained to this level.
