Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity to work in the Corporate Resilience Team providing a key role in supporting the development and implementation of Health and Safety agenda across the organisation.
Reporting directly to the Head of Corporate Resilience you will directly assist in delivering the Trusts Health and Safety agenda in line with the national and legislative requirements.
The role will also support in delivery of the other aspects of the Corporate Resilience Teams processes during periods of absence and annual leave
Main duties of the job
- To assist the Head of Corporate Resilience with keeping abreast of current statutory obligations with respect to health and safety legislation
- To support the development of positive safety culture and encourage the full participation of staff.
- To undertake audits across the Trust to establish compliance with Health & safety regulation
- To assist in the management of the Trust accident/incident reporting system
- To assist in the production and presentation of the quarterly and annual Health and Reports
- Review all Health & Safety related incidents reported on the Datix system and investigate serious incidents
- To assist with the management of a small Health and Safety team
- Develop and deliver health & safety training
