Job summary
We are pleased to announce the creation of two new posts within the Continuous Improvement team at Dudley.
The Improvement Coach and Training Leads are key roles in the creation of improvement capability, capacity and mindset across The Dudley Group.
Dudley Improvement Practice (DIP) is the trust's long-term commitment to continuous quality improvement and has the mission of creating a culture of continuous improvement.
Gaining a deep understanding of the DIP method and values, the postholders will support nurses, allied health professionals, doctors, pharmacists and operational staff at all levels with their improvements and provide training and support to ensure skills are applied and embedded.
Due to the need to interact with, support and build relationships with staff and teams within the trust, you will be working onsite with our people in Dudley. There is very limited opportunity for home working.
Main duties of the job
- Responsible for development and delivery of improvement training across the trust using the Dudley Improvement Practice approach and method.
- Working with the Dudley Improvement Practice senior team, create and develop improvement capability and capacity, using the associated training programmes, practice events and workshops across the trust.
- Deliver improvement and improvement leadership training both physically and virtually.
- Undertake presentations to staff groups sometimes resistant to change.
- Facilitate discussions and meetings to support the identification and scoping of value streams, ensuring pace and delivery of the programme.
