Job summary
Due to an expansion of MRI services at The Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust, an exciting opportunity has arisen for highly motivated and focused individuals to join our Imaging department. We have three state of the art Siemens scanners which perform a wide variety of specialised scans, supporting our new Community Diagnostic Hub. This has provided improved care for the Black Country and development opportunities for enthusiastic staff. Come and join our friendly team of radiographers at the Dudley Group of Hospitals where our aim is to deliver a personal, fair and diverse health care system.
Training posts will be considered with a Band 5-6 progression.
Main duties of the job
To work permanently in the MRI department performing high quality diagnostic examinations in a diverse range of specialist procedures.
To participate in any extended day, weekend, and Bank Holiday service provided by the MRI department.
To train Radiographers, Radiographic Aides, and student radiographers in MRI.
To assist the Principal MRI Radiographer as required with the day-to-day operational management of the MRI Department, being responsible for the smooth running of the MRI scanning list.
To work without supervision when required, to perform high quality diagnostic examinations in a diverse range of MRI procedures whilst observing the current MRI Local Rules.
