Job summary
This post has become vacant due to the departure of the current post holder and offers an exciting opportunity to join a well-established team of occupational health practitioners based at Russell's Hall Hospital in Dudley.
It is a very exciting time to join the team following a new initiative to have a joint leadership structure with The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust Occupational Health Service. You will be a key part of shaping our journey to transforming the Occupational Health Services at The Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust and have the added advantage of a wider support network through this new Service Level Agreement.
This is an excellent opportunity to improve your current skills and to develop a wider career in Occupational Health (OH) with in-house training. The service is committedto raising standards of OH service delivery by working towards SEQOHS accreditation, and by encouraging bespoke mentorship of OH clinicians who may be new to the specialism in attaining their CPD skills and competences.
Main duties of the job
A key component of the role will be to manage the junior Occupational Health team, support the Occupational Health & Wellbeing Manager with service delivery and performance and undertake complex case management.
Hours of work will be arranged over 5 days a week (Monday to Friday), typically 8am to 4pm or 8.30am - 4.30pm. There may be an occasional requirement to work outside these hours to meet service needs. The postholder will be expected to work in our satellite clinic location at Ladies Walk in Sedgley.
