Job summary
We are looking for a Simulation Fellow to be a member of our cohesive team, working in the Medical Education Department and in clinical areas helping improve the postgraduate and undergraduate education through simulation based education. The simulation fellow will be delivering in-situ and simulation suite simulation based education programmes, including the expansion of multiprofessional simulation.
The role will allow for the opportunity to develop teaching skills, extending knowledge of educational theory and undertaking educational research. It will suit an individual who has an interest in medical education and educational research and want to take time out to focus on these interests for a year.
The level will be CT2+/ST4 or equivalent. The Simulation Fellow, as well as being responsible to Human Factors & Simulation Specialist Lead, and if required a speciality supervisor, the post holder will also be supported by a dedicated team of Medical Education Officers.

We will encourage you to undertake and will fund a PGCert in education or other related PGCert and you will have a study leave budget of £800, which will allow you to attend courses in your specialty.
