Job summary
This post will have a particular commitment to working within the 'Hospital at Home (HAH) team as the Dietitian for the patients on the virtual ward, as well as the respiratory ward in Darent Valley Hospital. HAH is an acute clinical service that takes staff, equipment, technologies, medication and skills usually provided in hospitals and delivers that hospital care to selected people in their homes or in nursing homes. It substitutes for acute inpatient care.

We need an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as a Band 6 Dietitian. This post offers an exciting opportunity to be part of the friendly Nutrition & Dietetics Department for Dartford & Gravesham NHS Trust. The post will involve providing a comprehensive nutrition and dietetics service in the acute setting to the respiratory ward and also developing a dietetic service to the Hospital at Home team. You will be actively involved in supporting Band 5 Dietitians, Dietetic Support Workers and clinical placements of student Dietitians. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, confident and highly motivated individual to this post. This is a role for a Dietitian looking to move in to their first senior role and develop skills within the field of complex nutrition support in acute adult medicine.
