Job summary
Performs independently transthoracic echocardiography, (TTE) using manual dexterity and precision, exercising specialist judgemental skills when acquiring images. To perform 12 Lead Electrocardiograms when necessary.To produce full, accurate and comprehensive clinical reports independently for each study, which will directly affect patient care and/or management. Responsibility for own caseload.
Responsible along with the other Band 7 Physiologist for the operational responsibility of the department on a day to day basis. This includes a clinical workload (i.e. performing and/or reporting on all the non-invasive tests) as well as day to day management and supervision of staff.
