Job summary

We are looking for a Performance and Business Intelligence Administrator to join our Business Intelligence Team at Dartford & Gravesham NHS Trust

We're looking for an organised person with a good eye for detail and a genuine interest in using data to deliver improvements in patient care.

As a Performance and Business Intelligence Administrator, you'll play a key role in helping us manage and improve the way we use data to drive the delivery of our strategy and monitor our performance from ward to Board. This role will help teams across the hospital make informed decisions that directly impact patient care and drive long term improvements and efficiencies.

We are a small and friendly team who work closely with other members of the academy team including Digital, PMO, strategy and CQI as well as with other data teams embedded in services, such as workforce and Cancer.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data and how to visualise that data effectively. You must be confident using Excel, PowerPoint, SQL and PowerBi and want to build a career in NHS performance or analytics.

Main duties of the job

The post-holder will work with the Business Intelligence Manager and Deputy Director for Performance and BI, supporting administrative duties of the teams. The primary focus of the role is to lead the collation and presentation of all performance monitoring date in collaboration with the Business Intelligence team.

The post holder will arrange and minute all meetings in accordance with the Trusts Performance Framework. They will maintain a clear documentation library of notes and supporting documents for all performance meetings.

The post holder will co-ordinate and administer the Trust CQUIN programme providing information and support to the individual leads as required, lead in the reporting of the Cancer patient waiting lists ensuring validation of patients occurs in line with performance standards.

They will lead on small administrative projects and co-ordinate small performance related projects and support the team with administrative duties such as diary management, arranging and minuting meetings, workshops and events.

Update actions tracker, circulating the tracker following meetings to prompt action, reviewing and updating the tracker before meetings and flag potential difficulties or blockages in the system
