Job summary

We are seeking dynamic and committed Health Care Assistants to join our paediatric team looking after children and young people in our Paediatric ward.

Willow ward is a 22-26 bedded general paediatric ward that takes children from 0-16 with a variety on medical surgical and orthopaedic conditions.

Main duties of the job

This is an opportunity for Band 3 Health Care Assistants to join our team, providing clinical and administrative support to the nursing and medical teams. You will be working day and night shifts. The successful applicant will need to have:

A commitment to caring for sick children and young people, and supporting the nursing and medical teams

Previous experience of working with children or babies.

Commitment to continuing your own personal professional development

The ability to work day shifts, weekends and Bank Holidays

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, or be willing to undertake
