Clinic Receptionist - Evergreen Unit

Job summary

An exciting and rare opportunity has arisen in the Evergreen unit to join the team as a Ward Clerk/Receptionist (37.5 hours per week).

We are a small, friendly department looking for an organised and efficient individual who is approachable and can communicate effectively.

We are looking for someone friendly and motivated to work within a busy environment who enjoys new challenges and learning new ways of working on a daily basis

Main duties of the job

The role encompasses working within a small outpatients' department which aims to look after older people where the successful candidate would be providing effective administration support within a multi-disciplinary team.

The main role would involve checking patients in when they arrive to the unit for their appointment. It also involves answering phone calls, taking messages and support the team in the daily operations of the department.

The Evergreen also houses an Acute Frailty unit which involves liaising with paramedics and the Frailty Team and patient who require emergency admissions.
