Job summary

We have two part time vacancies for experienced Phlebotomists, to join our team within Outpatients services, based at Darent Valley Hospital.

For many people an outpatients department is their first and only experience of using hospital services and the quality of care they receive from us leaves a lasting impression on them. You will be part of a team of over 50 nursing/ phlebotomy staff and will also work in collaboration with the reception team.

Main duties of the job

Vacancies for two part time Phlebotomists to join our Outpatient team.

It is essential that you have previous phlebotomy experience and have evidence of formal training and/ or previous phlebotomy. You are expected to have sound knowledge of phlebotomy practice and excellent practical skills as this is not a training post. Candidates that do not demonstrate this experience in their application will not be shortlisted.

We are looking for a hardworking, dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our Phlebotomy Team. Are you are a highly skilled, caring, careful and conscientious worker who is a team player? Do you have strong interpersonal skills, reliable and can work with indirect supervision? If the answer is yes, and you can demonstrate all of these in a pressurized environment, then you are the right person for our team. A professional attitude is essential along with the skills to work in a busy acute setting.
