Job summary

The post holder will support cancer patients and their family/friends under the guidance and supervision of a registered practitioner during their cancer journey. This is from referral to diagnosis, through treatment and follow-up with living with and beyond cancer, covering elements of the recovery package: Personalised care, which will involve psychological and informational support.

Main duties of the job

They will act as a point of contact for those patients who will have been prepared by their clinical team for self-managing their follow up and will be able to direct patients to appropriate resources and support which will help them to a more effective recovering and rehabilitation.
