Job summary
Two part-time posts available for 22.5 and 15 hours

The post holder will be assisting with the day to day administration duties in the Colposcopy Department such as processing the daily referrals, looking up results and communicating them to the patient, audio typing of clinic letters and answering the phone and dealing with patient queries.
To undertake all clerical and administrative duties within the colposcopy Department as directed by the colposcopy coordinator.
Main duties of the job
Responsible for handling general telephone enquiries and providing appropriate responses, referring on to other members of staff if necessary.
Track and update patient information on PAS and MASEY.
Responsible for maintaining the validity and accuracy of information, by ensuring all paper and electronic information is up to date and filed appropriately
Provide administrative support to the Colposcopy team as required, taking responsibility for issues as appropriate.
Manage emails as appropriate highlighting problems/issues as they occur.
Type up clinic letters and reports as required by the Colposcopy team ensuring they are distributed promptly.
To ensuring an adequate supply of all documentation, request forms and leaflets.
Check and process all new Colposcopy referrals
Liaise with the Colposcopy Consultants and Colposcopy Nurses to resolve queries.
Deal with patients in a courteous and professional manner, referring any needs you are unable to deal with to the Colposcopy Coordinator.
Providing non-clinical advice to patients when they phone up, and act as a central point of contact for the Colposcopy service.
Arrange, book, cancel and rearrange patient appointments as instructed.
Audio typing of clinic letters.
Assisting the CSPL with administration duties.
