We have an exciting opening for a Business Intelligence Lead Diagnostics Analyst to join our busy BI team and become involved with a variety of work with a focus on the CDC (Community Diagnostic Centre), diagnostic and RTT reporting and national returns.

If you are one of the rare people who have excellent interpersonal communication skills and can offer a resourceful approach using a variety of methods to extract and compare data from various platforms, and a variety of techniques to manipulate, interrogate and ultimately present Information to audiences at all levels, then we want to hear from you!

Main duties of the job

Duties include:

Being the Trust's BI lead for the CDC project working in collaboration with a range of CDC stakeholders from other areas in the trust.

Developing dashboards to support strategy deployment and service monitoring

Analysis and development of accurate, insightful reports for a range of stakeholders.

Ownership of the Trust's Diagnostic and RTT submissions, ensuring statutory returns are compiled and submitted in a timely and accurate manner.

Interpretation and presentation of focussed information to support the Trust's operational performance management and to inform decision making within the Trust.

Provide specialist analytical support, interpretation and reporting. Communicate complex analytical/statistical results to a range of key stakeholders across the Trust. To present findings where appropriate.

Analyse, investigate and resolve complex statistical queries where there may be a range of solutions.

Ensure the continuing development and provision of health related information to support the Trust.

Produce high quality and timely Diagnostic & RTT management information to support the Trusts incorporation of CDC

  • Further training in statistical methods

  • Degree or equivalent experience

Desirable

  • Degree preferably in a numerate subject or equivalent experience

  • High level of competence in a reporting or data extraction/manipulation module
