Job summary
The Trust is embarking on an ambitious project to roll-out the Healthroster e-Rostering software to its medical workforce in 2023-24 and an exciting opportunity has become available to lead the delivery of this project as the Medical e-Rostering Project Manager.
The post holder will be responsible for the day to day management of the Medical e-Rostering Project, planning and delivering the roll-out of Healthroster to all medical staff across the Trust.
This will include the development and maintenance of detailed project documentation, stakeholder management and the organisation and chairing of project group meetings. They will manage a small project team responsible for all aspects of the system implementation, including the software configuration, training and initial end user support.
The successful candidate will have proven experience in the management of complex projects, ideally in the implementation of software across large organisations. They will be highly organised and have proven experience of effective stakeholder management.
They will be an expert in the use of Healthroster and be familiar with the principles of clinical rosters and medical and dental terms and conditions.

Undertake post project evaluation, including the delivery of stakeholder feedback sessions and focus groups.
Coordinate the production of detailed system documentation and training materials.
Ensure the effective delivery of end user system training,
Manage the project budget; monitor and report on performance against plan and authorise expenses
Arrange engagement session demonstrations for Trust staff
Act as a champion for Healthroster and e-Rostering.
Line management responsibility for the Medical Rostering Senior Project Manager, including regular 1:1s, PDRs and sickness absence.
Provide support and guidance to the wider Medical e-Rostering Project Team.
Develop a suite of medical e-Rostering KPIs to monitor how effectively the system is being used,
Monitor these KPIs and associated data to identify areas for improvement and remedial
Attend and contribute to relevant departmental and Trust meetings as required,
Deputise for the Assistant Director of HR Operations and Deputy Director of People and OE.
