Job summary
Anthony Letchworth Ward is looking for Health Care Support worker to join our team of nurses, doctors and health care support workers. Candidates should possess excellent communication skill.This is a very patient-focused service, and the successful candidate will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The position will include working in all areas of the department including the Early Pregnancy Assessment unit and Gynaecology clinics
Main duties of the job
We are a small, friendly ward, who pride ourselves on working together as part of a team. Our ward consists of 13 inpatient beds, caring for women with breast and gynaecological conditions requiring emergency admission and caring for women during the first 20 weeks of pregnancy, including pregnancy loss. Alongside this we have 7 elective surgery beds used Monday - Friday for both Gynaecological and Breast surgery. We also support the wider Trust with looking after both medical and surgical patients to support the main hospital flow.
