An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an established nutrition support service, working in the specialist area of pseudomyxoma surgery,

Main duties of the job

Be part of the nutrition support team to safely provide PN for patients undergoing surgery for pseudomyxoma peritonei, at a nationally recognised centre.

  • Under the supervision of the Specialist Band 7 Dietitian to work as an integral part of the Nutrition Team, providing specialist nutritional advice to all adult services at Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital
  • To provide nutritional advice for all patients on Critical Care at BNHH
  • To communicate and work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams in primary and secondary care to enable patients to safely manage their nutrition support and to ensure their care is of the highest quality.
  • To work within the PMI to provide specialist nutritional advice to patients with peritoneal disease.
