Job summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Senior Nurse with extensive experience and knowledge in Orthopaedic Trauma and proven leadership skills who can support and lead our friendly and committed team as we continue to rapidly expand and develop our services.
D2 ward is a 18 bed Trauma Orthopaedic ward. We care for patient with a range of different Orthopaedic conditions and injuries. We have a strong focus on multidisciplinary team working, which helps to ensures a complete approach to patient centred care. We are looking for applicants who have a passion to embrace new and innovative ways of managing change and believe that the patient experience is central to care delivered.
Main duties of the job
- High standards of Professional Practice to ensure quality and safety of patient care, experience, and the patient journey.
- Specialist clinical practice, knowledge, skills and experience.
- Productivity and financial management of a clinical area with a delegated budget.
- Leading by example.
- Ensuring clinical services are delivered to a high quality of care and that all compliance requirements such as CQC and contractual requirements are achieved.
- Effective leadership.
