An opportunity for a dedicated and resilient Pathology LIMS Information Technology professional, installing a common Laboratory Information Management System, based in a commercial data centre, to Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Person Specification

Training and Qualifications

Essential

• First Degree or Equivalent Verifiable Experience in Information Technology

Desirable

• Project Management Qualification

Experience and Knowledge

Essential

• Evidence of knowledge and experience of managing Pathology Information Systems
• Evidence of knowledge and experience of Pathology services

Desirable

• A least five years experience working with pathology IT suppliers
• Evidence of supporting colleagues with sharing of knowledge and experience

Skills and Ability

Essential

• Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports
• Skill in organising resources and establishing priorities

Desirable

• Knowledge of financial/business analysis techniques
