Job summary
We are looking for a motivated and BI developer to join our data warehouse team within the BI department. The primary focus of the role is to:
o develop and maintain ETL code which extracts data from various source systems and loads that data into our Data Warehouse using DataStageo To provide expert analysis of data using SQLo To engage with users, understand their needs and implement solutionso To support existing production applications
Main duties of the job
This is an important role which offers the opportunity to contribute to the provision of high-quality business intelligence to support the Trust providing the best care for our patients.The business intelligence developer is a key member of the business intelligence team who will have responsibility for developing ETL solutions which support reports used by clinical, operational and administrative staff. Experience of our tool set is preferred but not essential as we are offering on the job training and support. As such the post will be well suited to those who:o Have experience of software development but are looking to retrain or return from a career breakoro Have in-depth knowledge of healthcare data but want to move to a career in software developmentWe are looking for an approachable, quick thinking, and well organised individual with excellent interpersonal skills who can work in a challenging, dynamic and fast-moving environment.This is a full-time position and is currently exclusively working from home but likely to move to one day a week on-site sometime in the future.
