Job summary
Position for a Trust Registrar in ENT at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust based at Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital. This is an appointment to increase capacity available in the ENT departments and provide specialist training.
Main duties of the job
We are seeking individuals who share our passion for improving the quality of ENT services. The successful applicant will join a department of three ENT Consultants, one Associate Specialist, 2 specialist registrars, 1 surgical trainee Clinical Fellow and 1 GP VTS.
The post is based at the Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospitals; however clinical sessions may also be timetabled at other Trust and satellite sites.
The post-holder will be expected to supervise junior doctors and will be expected to see new and follow up patients in the Out-patient clinic, lead with ENT emergencies and to carry out ENT procedures in the operating theatre. There is ample opportunity to be involved in research and audit projects locally.

- MBBS or equivalent
- Management of ENT Admissions at SpR level or ST2
