Job summary
  Housekeeping Assistant - Warminster - 20 hours per week This role is offered on a part time basis of 20 hours per week, this means that candidates interested in working part time are encouraged to apply and will receive a salary on a pro rata basis. 
The post is at Warminster Hospital.
 We are looking for a housekeeper to join our existing team to help ensure all areas are kept to the highest standards 20 hours per week Monday to Friday.
 We couldn't run our sites without you and the fantastic work you will do keeping our wards, departments and areas clean, tidy, reducing the risk of infections and effectively helping keep our staff well and our patients safe.
 Our people are working hard behind the scenes to provide safe, clean, well maintained environments for patients and their NHS colleagues during this challenging time. You will become part of a team who are passionate about supporting the NHS and its people in their vital work by keeping premises clean and safe.
  Main duties of the job
  As you would expect, we do have set cleaning standards and NHS guidelines to work towards, so whilst there is no experience required, we will fully train you on all of this. The work can be physically demanding and we don't shy away from this, however, we know that this will also be what motivates you.
Of course we want you to be friendly, reliable and conscientious as this role isn't just about vacuuming and cleaning, it's about being part of a whole team of staff working together to ensure the best environment for our patients to receive their treatments.

- Undertake cleaning duties throughout the sites, which will include clinical departments, offices, sanitary and communal areas.
- Empty, cleaning and relining general and clinical waste bins, segregating waste for disposal to appropriate holding areas.
- Replenishing supplies of soap, toilet rolls, paper towels etc.
- Periodic cleaning maintenance of carpets and other floor surfaces.
- Maintaining departmental records where appropriate, eg cleaning forms, temperature sheets etc
- Occasional curtain changing.
- Using all equipment and cleaning products in accordance to the manufacturers instructions
