Job summary

The Great Western Hospital is looking to expand our Bank Nursing team for the winter season and are seeking experienced, compassionate and caring registered nurses to Join us to provide the best care we can.

We are looking for committed nurses who are passionate about doing the best for our patients through delivering excellent standards of care. Opportunities in all areas including Medical Wards, Surgical Wards, Theatres (all areas), Emergency Department (Adult & Paediatric) and Care of the Elderly via our Bank.

Main duties of the job

As a qualified and enthusiastic nurse you will be experienced in dealing with conflicting demands, typical of an acute and dynamic hospital environment.

The post holder will plan, deliver and evaluate compassionate nursing care to meet the patients individualised needs and ensure the highest standards of care and safety are maintained.

You will also support the nurse in charge with the day to day planning, the delivery of a high quality nursing service and the continuous improvement of that service. Our patient's needs are constantly evolving which means we need to adapt and innovate in order to successfully meet this challenge.
