This is an important post that is key to the success of the organisation's short-, medium- and long-term Capital programme. The post holder is expected to work at all levels in the organisation and demonstrate credibility with Corporate Senior Managers and Divisional teams.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for the performance of the capital accounting function with an annual capex spend of £40m.This includes: the timely and accurate production of capital accounts; capital expenditure management, governance and reporting;capital prioritisation, planning and forecasting; and maintenance of the Trust's fixed asset systems.The postholder will be expected to act as the capital expert for the Trust and have excellent communication skills to develop effective working relationships with internal and external colleagues.The Finance Business Partner-Capital is managerially accountable to the Head of Financial Services and professionally accountable for ensuring duties are carried out in accordance with statutory regulations, NHSE's financial directives, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and the Trusts' internal control, corporate governance and reporting requirements.
