Swindon Intermediate Care Centre (SWICC) encompasses two wards, specialising in rehabilitation, and complex discharge planning for adults. We now have a vacancy for a Band 6 to join the team on Forest, a 30 bedded ward specialising in rehabilitation.

We are seeking an experienced registered Nurse to join our multi-disciplinary team of therapists, social workers and wider specialists such as Tissue Viability and Parkinson's. Previous experience in Rehabilitation would be very helpful but not essential. We would also be very interested in hearing from dual Register RMN/RN nurses or those with Learning Disabilities experience .Whatever your previous experience, you must have robust clinical skills and experience of co coordinating a ward and staff management.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will act as a clinical leader and role model for the nursing team, setting standards and expectations of high quality care. You will provide clinical advice and support to all staff within the multidisciplinary team, educating and developing the junior team.
