Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Community Nursing Service for a Assistant Practitioner to join the Continence Team on a 12 to work alongside our Bladder and Bowel Team to develop and learn this complex specialism while supporting the team.

We are a integrated service providing specialist bladder and bowel assessments and treatment to children and young adults. We provide care closer to home, empowering independence and shared decisions, working alongside a variety of specialist services. Providing more proactive, effective personalized care for patients many of whom have very complex needs.

Main duties of the job

You will work collaboratively with the Adult continence Specialist Team to provide advice and support through assessment, investigation, treatment and management of patients with bladder and bowel problems.We are committed to your training and professional development, offering unique training opportunities and other relevant post graduate courses, working towards advanced clinical practice.

  • Working knowledge and understanding of Outpatients department.
