Job summary

The post holder will triage calls taken by the CAS team within our Emergency Operations Centre's to ensure high standards of quality and safety when redirecting patients to alternative care pathways.

The post holder will also deliver training to members of the CAS and Agile Services Team including for both onboarding with CAD, MTS and Lowcode as well as any additional training required to support CPD to develop staff or as a result of finding trends within audit where more education is required.

Main duties of the job

  • Quality assure clinical assessments of the CAS and agile services team. These will be routine audits, new clinician sign off audits and specific audits to assist with investigations to ensure robust, safe clinical assessments are taking place
  • Assist with the identification of trends of lower compliance or areas required for development on an individual and team level and promote new initiatives on how to improve quality and standards.
  • Training of new CAS/Agile Services team members with the CAD, MTS and lowcode software and telephone triage
  • Deliver role specific training that has been identified using the data from the quality assurance process as well as delivering mandatory training identified by the trust as being required.
  • Assist with mentoring of new staff members or support when additional mentoring is required of existing staff
  • At times of high demand, there will be expectation to assist with clinical assessing patients in the live environment
